Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Koch Architects is a full service architecture and design firm with a focus on modern residential projects.  We see every project as a new opportunity to apply our skills and experience to guide clients through the process of designing, building and furnishing their project. joanne koch, AIa, principal.  

Prior to establishing Koch Architects in 1998, Joanne worked with both large and small firms in San Francisco and Sonoma County. Joanne is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has been licensed in California since 1994. Joanne received a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1988 after completing a fifth year thesis through the university’s International program in Florence, Italy.

KAT forget, Project Manager

Kat has previously worked in architectural firms in Toronto and Ottawa, Canada. Kat received a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Carleton University Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism in 2014. She also studied at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris-Malaquais for a semester as part of an international exchange program. As a Project Manager, Kat brings a thoughtful design sensibility and a meticulous managerial skillset to all stages of the architectural process.


TREY ARCHER, Project Manager

Trey grew up in Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Florida and a Master of Architecture Degree from Florida International University. In his role as Project Manager, Trey brings his design and technical talents to help develop projects from early concept through construction.  



Originally from France, Antoine received a Masters Degree from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles in 2012. Antoine recently joined our office after working in Hong Kong for five years. Antoine brings a wide range of design, rendering and technical problem solving skills to his role as Associate Architect.


Morgan rouquette, interiors project manager

Morgan is a Bay Area native and graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, She plays a vital role in researching, organizing, and coordinating interior finish materials, fixtures and fittings for all our projects. Morgan also maintains our ever expanding materials library.
